Owner Joe Lynn

Performance Plus Owner Joe Lynn has been in the automotive repair industry for over 30 years. Joe is an Advanced Level Master Technician with an L-1 Advanced Emissions Certification, and is an Accredited Automotive Manager with the Automotive Management Institute. He and his staff have over 60 years of combined experience in the automotive repair business.

We do Emissions and Safety Inspections, Engine Repair, Performance Tune-ups, all levels of Factory Maintenance Services, Tire Rotation and Balancing, Wheel Alignment, Computerized Diagnosis, Complete Brake and ABS service, and more. Trusting a repair facility with your automotive needs is no small matter. We do everything within our control to build and earn that trust every day. We are committed to achieving total customer satisfaction by delivering error-free service on time with service second to none. We fulfill this goal in three ways:

To make the sure the important repairs completed correctly the first time.
To make recommendations for regularly scheduled maintenance that will reduce the overall operating costs, as well as make suggestions for repairs that are in your best interest relating to the condition of your vehicle.
To educate you about your vehicle so that you can make more qualified decisions regarding its care and maintenance.

The Performance Plus goal is to provide all of the information a customer needs to make an informed decision about their car repairs. Our goal is to teach -- never to sell -- and to make sure that you're comfortable and confident in your decisions.

Before you authorize any repairs, we want you to know what the repair does, why we recommend that you do it, and how much you can save in the long run by having the repair done. Care and concern for your specific needs is demonstrated consistently at Performance Plus. Our goal is to create a higher level of confidence, loyalty, and satisfaction. AAA Approved Auto Repair

Performance Plus is a AAA Approved Repair Shop, meaning it meets the rigorous standards of the American Automobile Association. A certified shop must meet standards for cleanliness, proper tools, adequate technical training, and appropriate technician certifications.

In addition to having an impeccable repair shop, a certified facility must have a favorable opinion rating amongst its customers: AAA performs a survey of a significant number of the shop's customers and obtains their opinions "on how well the business meets their automotive service needs." The shop must score at least 90% on each question.

NAPA AutoCare Center

Performance Plus is a NAPA Auto Care Center, meaning it meets the rigorous standards of the NAPA AutoCare Program. An approved shop must meet standards for "community reputation, integrity, qualifications, and expertise."

Being a NAPA AutoCare Center also means offering the NAPA AutoCare Peace of Mind Warranty, which covers qualifying repairs for 12-months/12,000 miles (Performance Plus goes even further by guaranteeing all repairs for 2 years/24,000 miles).

ASE Certified Technicians

Performance Plus employs ASE Certified Technicians, including two Master Technicians with L-1 Advanced Emissions Certifications.

An ASE Certification signifies a commitment to excellence by a technician. In order to be certified in an area, a technician must take difficult, national tests on the most current methods and models, meaning they must constantly be learning about new technologies as they are developed. ASE Certified Master Technicians must keep current certifications in eight areas: Engine Repair, Engine Performance, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Brakes, Heating and Air Conditioning, Suspension and Steering, Manual Drive Train and Axles, and Automatic Transmissions. Technicians must also re-test every five years in order to keep their certification.

For this reason, Performance Plus is the place for auto repair that you can trust to get it right, the first time.
